Where is the future of infomercials? |

Recently I talked to a friend of mine who is in law school about patent law. After the talk I left with a deep understanding that intellectual property in this country is pretty much screwed, and the future is very different as far as an idea is concerned. Nothing is unique, and as soon as something comes out on the market there will be a similar something being marketed somewhere else by someone else.
So how do you survive?
Well, you have to set the trend. And that's why infomercials were so great. By using an infomercial, you can market your product without having to go to a company and risk the product being stolen. You can get out there and make the first waves before everyone else catches on.
But what is the the future of infomercials? Will they still be around? Will there be nothing unique anymore? Knowing exactly the future of infomercials is uncertain, but they will probably continue to exist and will probably go online. As products become less and less unique and as services become the thing to do, so will the future of infomercials match the rapid economy of this new field.
